Kate is a writer, editor, podcaster, and fangirl. Originally from New York, she currently lives in Colorado. She earned her MFA in fiction at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her short stories have appeared in numerous literary journals and anthologies. She also has over ten years of experience editing fiction, nonfiction, scholarly, and professional publications.
Kate is a co-host of
Book Wars Pod, a podcast exploring multimedia storytelling through the
Star Wars franchise, including books, video games, television shows, comics, and, of course, the films. She has presented at fan conventions including Awesome Con in Washington, DC, and Star Wars Celebration Chicago.
She lives in Denver with her husband and a dog named Orka.
